hmm... it would be layered, like this helm for ease of construction. the leather would be dyed white and set with silver rivets. two proportionate ears on the top of the helm, probably swept back to prevent damage during a fight (i'm part of Amtgard, a foam fighting group), the face of the helm would be shaped like a wolf's muzzle. the eye holes i'd rather have made in an open visor to enable 180 degree vision, as i believe just two eye holes would reduce my field of vision. i'd like to see a crest extending from the forehead all the way to the base of the helm in the back, but that's just something fancy that isn't really necessary. the strips of leather on the bottom edge of the helm pictured here would be nice. ideally, the helm would be a heavier gauge leather to survive the occasional head-shot (not legal in the rules of the game, but they do happen), with reinforcement within the muzzle to keep it from getting crushed or bashed in. i can try to get a sketch, but i'm not the best. and i've never seen a leather wolf-helm before, so a picture might be out of the question. feel free to message me for questions.
Oh well all the leather I buy is always in ounces, like a 8/9 oz is a decent medium thickness and 16 oz is armor grade thickness, basically how much each square foot is approximated to weight. But I guess places like Tandy Leather and such do it for a business perspective in sales, no clue though.
